Some of the older Blayman Bass Clarinet and Bassoon Stands did
not
have holes pre-drilled for additional pegs. These holes are necessary to
attach the Doubler Legs.
2.
Blayman Music, Inc. will drill and tap holes for your older stands for a
nominal fee, plus shipping.
3.
The cost is $12 plus return shipping.
4.
If you need a new foam cushion installed, we can do this at the same
time. The cost of the cushion is $6.99 installed.
5.
The turn-around time in our shop for the Retro-Fit and/or foam cushion
installation is 5 business days or less.
6.
You may place a RUSH order for an additional fee of $25. This will
guarantee that the stand will be drilled, tapped, and shipped within 24
hours of receipt.
7.
In addition, if you would like us to restore and re-paint your base, the
additional cost is $35, and it will add another 5 business
days to the turn-around time. (RUSH orders are guaranteed to be shipped
within 72 hours of receipt.)

Please see the following instructions for sending us your base for
Retro-fit and/or Restoration:
A. Send an e-mail to
sales@blaymanmusic.com indicating your interest in a Retro-Fit.
We will need the following information:
1) Your name, e-mail address, shipping address, and telephone number, as
well as the date that you need your base back.
2) Please send us your Daytime telephone number also, so that we
may call you to confirm your order and collect your Credit Card billing
information.
3) DO NOT SHIP your base until after you have spoken
to us on the telephone.
B. When you are ready to ship your base, send ONLY the base
and NOT the shaft.
C. We recommend that you send the base insured via a
traceable carrier such as UPS or FedEx. Blayman Music Inc. is
not responsible for bases that are lost or damaged in
shipping to us.
D. We will perform the appropriate Retro-Fit and ship the
base back to you UPS insured.
