What is Bass Atlanta?

Bass Atlanta is a division of Blayman Music, Inc., manufacturer and seller of Blayman musical instrument stands and Herb Blayman Clarinet Mouthpieces.  Bass Atlanta was formed to meet the needs of Bass Players in the Metro Atlanta area.

Where is Bass Atlanta located?

Bass Atlanta shares office space with our parent company, Blayman Music, Inc., in Woodstock, Georgia.  It is our goal to  provide you with a relaxed and professional atmosphere in which to audition our high-end bass gear.  Therefore, our Woodstock showroom is open by appointment only.  You may call us at  770-928-9216 to schedule a time that is best suited for you.

What brands of bass equipment does Bass Atlanta carry?

As you know, the retail musical instrument market has been dominated by the music super-stores.  We have made no attempt to compete head-to-head with these discount giants.  Instead, we have chosen to fill a niche that has been neglected until now......specifically, we have carefully selected a few high-end products that are not available at the super-stores.  We have chosen NOT to carry certain musical accessories that can be obtained virtually anywhere.  And by selling on the internet, we can keep our overhead low, and offer the best prices to our customers.

What is your sales and return policy?

All of our products are sold on 72-hour approval, except for Strings and Cables.  We make every effort to deliver your merchandise in factory-fresh condition. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it with the following stipulations:

     

  • You must notify us of your intention to return the merchandise within 72 hours of receipt. You may do this by emailing us at sales@blaymanmusic.com  with full details including your name, telephone number, item to be returned, and your invoice or eBay Auction number. We will return your email and issue a Return Merchandise Authorization number. NO MERCHANDISE WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR RETURN WITHOUT AN RMA NUMBER.

  • You must write the RMA Number on the shipping label, however, DO NOT WRITE ON THE BOX.

  • All items must be returned complete and in the original packaging.  You are responsible for return shipping and insurance costs, as well as PayPal fees on the original purchase.  Please ship by UPS, FedEx, or DHL, FULLY INSURED. Do NOT ship by US Postal Service.

  • Returned merchandise must be RECEIVED at our offices within 7 business days following issue of the RMA Number.  NO RETURNS WILL BE ACCEPTED IF RECEIVED LONGER THAN 7 BUSINESS DAYS AFTER THE ISSUE OF AN RMA NUMBER. NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • All returned merchandise must be in NEW condition. If there are any scratches, dings, or other damage, the item will be considered sold and will be returned to you.

  • After the returned merchandise is received and inspected, a credit will be issued to the purchaser's credit card or PayPal account, minus shipping charges and PayPal fees.  Please allow 2-3 weeks for your credit to show up on your credit card.

Pre-Sales and Special Orders

A "Pre-Sale" is basically a pre-purchase of an instrument that is already on order. 

A "Special Order" is a custom order for an instrument that has not otherwise been ordered.

Pre-Sales are handled as follow:

- 25% non-refundable deposit at time of pre-sale; balance due at time of shipment.

- 72 hour approval with $50 re-stocking fee.  The buyer is responsible for shipping both ways.  The 25% non-refundable deposit will be issued as a store credit.

Special Orders are handled a little differently:

- 50% non-refundable deposit at time of order; balance due at time of shipment.

- Our 72-hour approval policy still applies to special pre-orders, however, there is a $100 order cancellation and re-stocking fee, and the buyer is responsible for shipping both ways.  The 50% non-refundable deposit will be issued as a store credit.

Will you match prices?

Absolutely.  Bass Atlanta will meet or beat any Authorized Dealer's advertised price on a comparably configured bass or amp.
